NEXTWAVE / Homes

Whole-home internet & Wi-Fi, planned around your property.

From the room where you work to the garden office, the connection should reflect how you live. We assess the property and bring its internet, wired connections and Wi-Fi into one plan.

01 / The approach

Start with the rooms where life happens.

A working room needs dependable calls and uploads. Family rooms may have several people streaming or gaming together. A guest annexe may need its own coverage and access arrangements. Tell us which spaces matter and when the current connection struggles.

We check whether the issue starts with the incoming internet service or the way it is distributed through the house. Existing broadband and useful network equipment can remain part of the design where suitable.

02 / The approach

A house, home office and annexe: one possible plan.

As an illustrative example, the main router could feed wired access points on the occupied floors, a desk socket in the home-working room and a separate building link to the annexe. The annexe would then have local Wi-Fi, with guest access separated if required.

This is not a completed NextWave project or a standard package. Wall construction, routes, the existing service and how each area is used determine the actual design. Good coverage in the hall does not tell us how a call will behave in the study.

03 / The approach

Consider the finish before installation.

We discuss where access points, sockets and the main equipment can sit. Ceiling or wall positions, discreet surface routes and available floor or loft access all affect appearance, coverage and disruption.

Concealed cables depend on accessible routes and the agreed work. Photographs help us identify likely options; the proposal sets out visible equipment, cable routes and any preparation or making good to be arranged.

04 / The approach

Agree the working positions to check.

Name the rooms, desk positions and any outdoor areas that should be included in completion checks. We can then define the installation around those uses, rather than an unspecific promise of Wi-Fi everywhere.

No. Describe what is not working or what you would like to connect. We will ask the relevant questions by email.

Yes, that can be assessed as part of the property network. The route and the office requirements determine the options.
